Hey Guys,

I have an couple Amp questions.

Here is current setup (2002 Maxima SE without BOSE):
HU: KW Excelon 659 MP3/CD (22RMS)
EQ: KW KGC-9044- Currently Only Controls Sub.
SUB: Kenwood Powered 10" Sub (Tube)
FS: Polk Component EX3560
RS: Infinity Ref 6002i.

1st: Does an AMP append or replace the power. Example, if my HU has 22RMS and an AMP has 40x4. Would I then have 62RMS or 40.

2nd: I am looking to get the most out of my speakers, and not cause any deafness :-)...

the amp will replace power. u disconnect the speakers from the hu and you connect them 2 the amp.
