TV Tuners suck!!!

I have recently added a TV tuner to my 7.2" in dash set up. I bought a 4way tv antenna (cost me $100 bucks) and mounted it in my rear windshield and I still only have a few channels that can be identified. Is this common with TV tuners? Is there some kind of trick that can be used to get better reception or should I just be happy that I can see anything at all?

A TV Tuner in the car is almost the same thing as putting rabbit ears on a TV at your house...so whatever you would get with rabbit ears at your house, thats what you'll get with your tuner. Where I am I get about 4-8 channels depending on where in the state I am...
