Left rear Bose speaker not working.

Ok, a few weeks ago, my (driver side rear Bose speaker stoped working)
Do you guys know how can I do to test the speaker, (if is working or not.)
how would I know if it is the wires and not the speaker that is broken?

Any suggestions on how to fix this problem?

BTW a few months ago, I notice that if I slam the drivers door (someone else did to my car, not me) the whole driver side speakers would stop working.
