am i doing things right?

Today, i just installed a pair of mb quart dsd213 components in the front. They were 5 1/4 but i used a mounting bracket for the install. I want to take it a step further and get a amp to power them. I decided with this

Since my head unit only has 1 preout for the rears, if i use that preout to hook up the amp for components, would i still have sound in the back?

Also, what gauge amp kit do i need for this amp?
Thanks in advance

you only need one set of rca for a 2 channel amp

if you hook up the rears to the deck

That's soundstream's cheapest amp but it should do its job fine. As kgb said, one set of RCA and 8 gauge wiring. Good luck
