help alpine amp

help alpine amp

I bought an amp Alpine MRV-T757 at ebay but it dont work, when I turn the stereo on the amp doesn't work, the power LED on the amp is flashing red and the music and the protection LED's are on in green color somebody can tell me what this color mean or what is the problem?? and for what is the direct battery??

According to the user manual here, page 16, the colors mean this:
Flashing Red Power Indicator - Poor Battery Voltage (less than 10V).
Solid Green Music Indicator - No Music Input.
Solid Green Protection Indicator - Normal.

Sounds like you might have some wires crossed. Double check your connections and make sure you have power going to power.
