Countless interference problems, please help!

Background:
I have Alpine Type-R 6.75" components installed in my 4th gen. I'm using the stock wires to the doors. The crossovers are mounted inside the doors and wrapped in celaphane wrap to try to protect them from moisture. I have 10 and 4 gauge power wires running through the firewall with the rest of the wiring in the driver side wheelwell. Recently I installed reverse indiglo gauges from e-bay wiring the power to the headlight lead and grounding underneath the steering column. Everything except the gauges has been installed for years now, problems started in December. All of the intereference I'm hearing is independent of speaker volume.

Problems:
1. Whenever I turn the car on the accessories there is no noise, but when I turn it on there is a high-pitched noise coming from my front left tweeter. I started noticing it over the winter, when I began using my rear defroster and it was in the form of alternator noise, but this was only noticable when I was using the defroster.
2. A couple months ago I accidently left my window down in the rain for a few minutes, and it has been buzzing whenever the car was on, but at a single pitch, since then.
3. It has been much more prominent after I installed reverse-glo gaugues a couple weeks ago, to the point when I'd have to turn the music up to drown it out when the gauges are on.
4. I only drove the car a couple hours after having the gauges installed and garaged it for a few weeks. After I started it up again I got very loud single tone interference coming from all speakers, including the sub. After awhile, I found that if i jiggled the HU the interference would decrease or stop, but if I hit a bump it would sometimes come back.

Please Help
Pretty much I dont know what to do about it any of these. My best guesses are:
1. I don't think I have a wire too close to a power source since I'm using stock wiring, but the power wires for my amps are in the vincinity so they may be the culprit, but it took a year to develop this noise.
2. The rain might have damaged some of the components, either the tweeter or the crossover, but I don't know how to be sure other than to replace them. Any ideas?
3. I have a feeling that the post-gauges interference is due to wiring but I don't know where else I could re-wire them to. Maybe the power to the dimmer and the ground to ....?
4. My best guess is that the HU comes in contact with the frame and picks up the interference from the gauges. Other than that I'm clueless

Sorry it's so long, I'd really appreciate any help.

holy crap, yea i dont have time to read all that but real quick, i hooked up my gauges to the illumination wire of my head unit, so that when i turn the lights on, the gauges come on. the gauges had their own independent dimmer and blue/green switch, so i didnt worry about hooking it up to the factory dimmer.
