6.5 Subwoofer in the front doors

If I installed these with tweeters do you think that they'll sound crappy. I already have an amp to power these so I'm straight and the tweets will be off of HU power. I'm guessing some 100w-200w tweets. I also know that they have components for this setup but I just love bass or do you think it's too much bass?

u obviously arnt interested in anything that sounds decent, BOSS brand speakers are in general POS speakers. Go out and buy yourself a NICE brand sub (jl, kicker, diamond etc...) and an appropriate amp to power them. Then go out and buy yourself a nice set of component speakers for your front section and a nice set of 6 1/2 (6x9 if your interested in doing some cutting) and a good amp for them. then youll have a NICE sounding interior with the accurate hard hitting bass your craving

its better to buy matched components than to use those and seperate tweets. the matched comps would come with good crossovers and generate much better sound reproduction than two seperate brands

Stay away from Boss stuff, more of a swap meet brand. But unless you figure out a way to have a good seal on the speaker, I don't see how it will sound good. Also, custom speaker pods must be made to replace the stock pods so they can accept 6.5's
