n00b question...

alright i'll admit i'm a car audio . i don't need pounding bass or anything, but i'd like to get some better sound out of the max. right now i have the stock non-Bose setup. i'd like to replace the speakers with something that won't go all fuzzy when the volume is turned up, and maybe a new headunit, but of course i'm on a limited budget.

what recommendations can you guys give me in the way of new speakers for the front/rear? i've got about 250 to spend total. thanks in advance

if that $250 is just for speakers then some cdt cl61's and cdt cl 6x's will fit your budget nicely and sound good. that will run you $200 shipped. you can find them at thezeb.com

if you want cheaper look into the 6600 or 4600.
