Bose speaker making a popping noise?

I have the Bose system in my 98 and just recently during certain notes of a song my passenger front tweeter will make a loud popping sound. Quite embarrassing now that its warm and driving with the windows down listening to a song and then a loud pop. Whats happening with my speaker? Do I need a new amp for that speaker or do I just need a new speaker? Or do I have to replace the whole thing???

Also would replacement parts from a 95-95 fit into a 98??

TIA
