I know I know....they arent the best subs...but they were practically handed to me...and I just want some thing to add to my stock bose setup. I was wondering if I need such a powerful amp...and if not what kind should I get

those amps would be fine, but i'd look into the alpines on ebay. their mono amps have tons of amazing features that i can't wait to start messing around with on saturday when my amp comes in!
