Amp power question.

Hi guys I been looking for a definate answer on this.

If I have a 500rms@2ohm and hook it to 2 subs at 2 ohm will each sub recieve 500 watts rms or 250 .

also any of you guys have any recommendations for subs for a Alpine MRD-M1000 amp.

if its 500x1@2 ohms each sub will get 250 rms. if its 500x2@2 ohms each sub gets 500. whats your budget for subs?

if both subs are 2 ohms each they won't work unless you wire them in parellel. + to one speaker - to the other and a wire between the two.

As for the budget around $300. right now I am leaning for 2 alpine SWR-1241D.
