hardest part of installation

What do you think is the hardest part of installing a basic system. I tihnk it is hiding all the wires once everything is done.

The hardest thing is running new speaker wires to the doors. Everything else is easy, as long as you have the right resources (such as the org).

Definitely getting new speaker wire through the doors. Then a distant second is getting the power wire through the firewall.

for me...it used to be removing the rear seat to get to my rear speakers. that seat was a b*tch to remove the first few times.

New wiring through the front doors!!!!(it took me at least an hour) I had to run seperate wires for the tweets and the midrange. I didn't want to even attempt putting crossovers in the doors. It took me more time to run the wires through the door than take the door panels off.

how to mount the sub while keeping the spare usable, and keeping my amp mounted against the back seat (soundstream 4 channel 18 inches wide, can't fit anywhere else!!) hoping the velcro does the job

Keeping the sunroof, front & rear windshield from popping out when volume is high, doors are closed & the widows are rolled up?
No, seriously, I would have to say changing out the rear deck speakers, door panels were a breeze. I guess the old wire hanger trick still works for me...

I think the hardest part is ever being satisfied enough to call it complete. Every time I tell mysely I'm not going to spend another dime on my system...

Why would you run speakers all the way to your door?
All I did was run the speaker wires from the amp to my HU.
My HU is connected to all 4 speakers through the wiring harness. All I did was disconnect the wires from the harness that connected to the HU, and connect the "front speaker wires" from the amp to them. Much more simpler than going through the doors. Now if you wanted to upgrade to a significantly higher guage wire, then this should be it.

And I just wired inside of my trunk into my rear speakers from the amp. That was probabaly the easiest part.
Granted, the first time I took out the rear seat was a B!tch!
