Running new Speaker wire

Going to be installing a whole new system tomorrow and need to know what the easiest way to run new speaker wire is. All the way from the doors to the trunk. Incase anyones wondering, this is what will be going in:
Headunit : Clarion VRX935VD 7"Indash DVD touchscreen
Fronts: Focal 6.5" utopias
Rears: Focal 165A
Amp: Eclipse EA3422
Sub: Either 2 or just a single JL Audio 12w7(still debating wether 1 is enough)
Sub amp: JL 1000/1(x2 if 2 12's go in)

Just need to know about that speaker wire... Thanks guys!

what year Maxima? can only speak for 4th gens ('95-'99), but running the wire from the two front doors to the trunk isn't very difficult, just time-consuming. i have my wires running down the passenger side (power down the driver's side). no extra drilling is needed. you can run the wires from the door thru the existing holes for the stock speaker wires, and easily thru the trunk (numerous holes behind the back seat).

hope that helps...

You can either run it inside existing wire harness (next to door latch) or drill a hole right next to the harness.

mrdebtix, take pics. I'm doing an install soon and want to see how you end up running the wire.

this has been debated, some say that running new wire into the door is the same thing as getting kicked in the ***** by a horse then attempting to run the quarter mile...others say its a peice of cake. hope its the latter of the 2 for you, i guess i will find out for myself sometimes next week

My wires are run similar to SuperChris' and I have no problems, no noise and no exposed wires.

just to pile on:

when i ran the wires thru my doors (99 SE-L), i ran them thru the rubber "grommet" that protects the stock speaker wires; only thing was the grommet was tighter than a new condom ....it took a little effort (i got big hands, so....), but i got the new wires poked thru with no hassle. plus, the speaker wires i used came with an extra protective layer of plastic/vinyl casing, so no worries about them getting wet.
