I just got 2 alpine type r's with a 600 watt rockford fosgate amp. They dont hit as much as id like i think the bose system really holds it back. Plus the subs cant get as much air as they need to. But im gonna take them back to the shop and see if they can rewire them to 2 ohm instead of 4 ohm so it will get more power out of the amp. Its only running off like half power running to it im kinda mad at the shop.

 

2 type rs should hit real hard =/

 

if they are dvc 4 run them at 1 ohm if the amp is 1 ohm stable and let em pound. if not get them in dvc 2 and run them at 2 ohm if its stable and give them 600 watts then see if you like em.
