No power to head unit and clock (97)

About 2 hours ago I replaced my center console - all I did was change the trim to a new black I didnt unplug anything but my hazards/clock/rear defrost, the lighter power and the light in the ashtray and now, for some odd reason, Im not getting any power to my clock and my head unit doesnt turn on. The security light, however, is blinking. I dont know what could have happened. I checked to make sure all the wires are plugged in and whatnot.. could it be my battery. Anyone's suggestions are welcome, I'm planning a road trip soon. :]

Thanks in advance..

Check all your fuses. Thats most likely your problem.

Is there a particular fuse I should check first? How do I know if the fuse is bad?

Take the fuse cover off, below and to the left of the steering wheel, like under the dash. There is a diagram on the back of that, saying which fuses are which. This is what fuses look like
That piece of metal in the middle of the fuse will be broken if the fuse is bad, i.e. power cannot flow through the fuse, meaning it is blown.

not flaming, but if you drive a car you should know what a blown fuse loosk like....

check under teh steering wheel, at the top of the 3rd row form the door, the fuse looks liek it woul dbe a spare but check the one at the very top, the very top. it si sepertaed form the others. that fuse runs your clock.

the check the other electronic parts fuses in their, and pop the hood, and check the radio fuse on the driver side fuse box next to the battery.

Yeah, I fixed it about 15 minutes after I posted. I decided to stop being a ******* and figure it out for myself. Checked the fuse box and decided those plastic things were fuses. Checked the "radio" fuses and decided the one that looked like a rat chewed through the wire was the broken one. It was one of those lessons, you know - dont ask ignorant questions. But, thank you, I definitely appreciate you dumbing yourselves down for me. :]
