? on cap install (pics)

From reading the instructions I can figure out how and where to install the cap, also how to charge the cap before using

1) just got a 1F RF digital cap (cp7436)

2) cap has a remote terminal, should I run another wire from the radio ant wire to this terminal, or connect the amp remote wires to this terminal. Does the cap need to be turn on/off like the amps or does it turn the amps on/off?

3) the cap has instructions on adjusting the sensitivity but I'm not too sure if it applies to my particular model. But when I remove the cover there seems to be an adjustment **** (blue and white square ****)

Hmm not too sure.

I'd say the remote wire from the amp., But they are both the same wire in my 95, so it doesnt matter which one, they meet at some point, therefore they are the same. Depends on witch is closer to where u mount the cap. About the sensitivity, mine is adjusted to the middle, I have been playing with it, but can't understand how it makes a difference in anything.

To charge it I drove an hour with the radio on and amps off. Ur cap is in line before the amps(battery to cap to amps)so it will charge itself when the car is running.

Install it wherever u want.

your cap will charge inself

Once you connect your power wire to your battery your cap will charge intself in a matter of minutes unless you still have the little resistor for slow charging in which case it will take about 20 minutes. Sensitivity is for if you have more than one cap clamped together. Leaving it at the middle will do fine.

I cant believe it two replies in one day

And its been 5 days. I've been asking around here locally and I figure the remote lead on the cap is to probably turn the digital read-out on/off. I haven't touch the sensitivity ****. Thanks again, MIKE

The Remote line on the CAP should be tied into the remote line that controls the on/off to the rest of the amps or at least the amp that will be running off that cap.

Any other questions, just ask.
