Stock Head Unit

Does the stock headunit for a 5th gen (non-bose) have a pre-amp outlet. I got some new speakers and I want to give the sound a little more kick. So I was thinking of just getting a small sub and amp, but nothing major. I don't really have the money to get another head unit, so I was just wondering if it was possible to do it with a stock head unit thanks

you can, but it requires to get RCA line converters. There are no stock pre-outs on the stock non-bose system. The converters aren't going to give you top notch sound, but for the application you're using them for it would probably suit just fine.
