i would also go with the v.3 e dead, but be sure to pick up a little mat to seal up them doors.
DING DING DING...see if you can get in on this sale of v.3 $40 a gallon is a steal. The owner is a real nice guy, is around on the forums, so he prolly doesn't mind.

Keep in mind with sound deadening, it's not like magic or anything. You're simply making the surface heavier so it rattles less/is more sturdy. Regular dynamat is a TOTAL ripoff because you have to heat up every piece with a heat gun. I did that once back in the day...never again. Raamat, from what I hear fatmat, dynamat extreme, and e dead v.1 (some from experience, some from word of mouth) are real real real sticky. So they adhere easily and the better the contact the more weight directly on the panel. Obviously 2-3 layers yeilds improvement, with some diminishing returns agter a while. The e.dead v.3 (and I think there are one or two more of these floating around) are liquids that dry and add weight, making them real easy to apply with no worries about air bubbles or good surface contact. Nothing magic....added weight.
Now if you're gonna go all out there are other materials that can have other effects besides dampening. On top of dampening you feel your bass hitting with your feet on the floor, carpet padding, both on the floor under your feet and where the sub box contacts the car will help lose that, in turn raising your soundstage and just giving more of an idea of up front realism.
Sorry for rabling, but dampening is SOOOO important if your gonna get the value of your equiptment.
Remember the sale on v.3http://www.edesignaudio.com/miva/merchant2/merchant.mv?Screen=PROD&Product_Code=eDeadv3sin&Ca tegory_Code=
and remember to get a little, maybe 10-20 sq feet of mat to seal up the doors on top of any liquid.

okay this may sound crazy.....but if the purpose is to make the surface your putting it on heavier......would any of you even thinkg of the "RHINO" spray on liner stuff on like the trunk and main floor? and some other stuff other places....wouldn't you think it would be a sound deadner as well?
Hey Guys,
I just bought 2 rolls of 6" by 33.5' of Peel and Seal at Lowes today. Also, while I was there I picked up a tube of insulating foam.
I'm going to do the whole trunk with the peel and seal, and use the foam in the corners. Hopefully this will help kill the rattle in my trunk with the new installation I'm doing with the system and the air ride...

An update...
That Peel and Seal stuff is great!!! I did the whole trunk (minus the wheel well) and I used the insulating foam in the trunk lid. That stuff is madd sticky, I even heated it w/ a heat gun to make it extra sticky after I put it all in. I haven't gotten the system all back in to hear the difference...but I'll update back again when I do...
