safe to screw basslink to left side of trunk???

I've seen the install write-ups for the basslink that several ORGer's have, and I'm wondering if there ABSOLUTELY no problem with drilling screws into the left side of the trunk floor? I'd hate to drill into my gas tank, etc. etc.

Looking for confirmation...

I believe the Gastank is closer to the fold down seat. I had one for awhile and i had it screwed down into some MDF on the floor. big enough that it was secured and didnt move around much. If that helps at all.

Dictionaries are also awesome ideas. Just because I can look up under it, doesn't mean I'll see everything that may be running along in there. But thanks for the input anyways.
