Wiring Installation

I have a JL Audio Stealthbox for the 4th gen and a 250/1 JL Audio amp. I am bringing it to Tweeter to be installed. I currently have an 8 guage kit running from my head, but the guy thinks I will need 4 guage for the setup. Is he rippin me off?

Better to have the 4ga. installed if you ever decide to go with a larger amp/sub. Otherwise 8ga. should be ok

yeah, what mvp said. but i would also go with the 4 gauge wiring, in case of future upgrades. just don't let the guy rip you off for an expensive wiring kit.

I don't plan to upgrade back there, I bet the guy is trying to sell me Monster Cable. When I go in, I'll tell them to just leave the current wiring in. Thanks
