Thinking about getting Infinity 610a Amp, opinions please!
Hey all,
well i have been thinking about replaceing my 800 watt kenwood amp with 300 rms with an infinity 610a amp. ( http://www.crutchfield.com/S-lXjCP5J...&avf=Y&search= ) The 610a supplys more watts rms so i am hoping this will give me the bump that i want being as i am not too pleased with my current setup. my subs are infinity reference subs with 1220 watts peek handling. would this be a worthy upgrade or would it make little to no difference at all. also i do not have an aftermarket headunit, i have the stock bose setup still if that makes any difference.
Thanks in advanced!

i never seen any infinity amps in action, but i ve heard kenwood amps and they are total crap.
if you looking to spend around $300 for a sub amp i would look into an alpine, fosgate or even a jl 500/1 (have to get it off ebay to get them cheap)

i can get this amp really cheap off of some website i think they were selling it for 230 if i can recall. i have seen a buddy of mine's infinity amp and his system sounded sooo clean. he seems very pleased with it and i do trust his opinion being as he did work as an installer at best buy not too long ago. the alpine are nice too but wayyy to expensive.

If you want to get a good amp around $300. Try the new memphis M-class amps. I have a 500D, and that's plenty of power. Plus, the D series is a digital amp series. It hits sharper and clearer. Makes it great for rock or pop songs. And it still has a lot of power for rap and songs with booming bass. And they'll hookup to just about any sub. Something to check out.

At least they are CEA-2006 certified and you knwo that it is true power. Infinty used to amke decent amps, but they just got back into the game with these amps.
Personally I would go with the new JBLs, alot of technology from Crown has gone into their amps and they are very reliable.
