SPL amps... are they any good?

SPL amps... are they any good?

Hey all,
i have been looking for a new amp and been thinking about maybe geting an Infinity amps because i have heard a friends and liked it. Anyway i was at a site today and saw a 1600 watt (600 watt rms) SPL amp for less then $150 and have been told by a friend that they are good amps. wut do you guys know about SPL amps are they any good?

Power Acoustik makes cheap/affordable amps. Are they good? Lets just say you get what you pay for....

BTW..Infinity hasnt made amps in years, except for the ones contained in the basslinks.

so should i stay away from this SPL amp? they arent actauly cheap, this is just a site that is offering a good deal, the amp is regular $250.

Dont be offended, but a 1600 watt amp for $250 is VERY Cheap. Anything good/reputable expect to pay *about $1 a watt, if not more.
