Help! Ebay Headrest Monitors
Help! Ebay Headrest Monitors
Hey guys i have a pioneer dvd/navi/radio (avic-n1) and it looks easy to connect headrest monitors to the unit under the seat, im seeing monitors that cost like $400-$600 a pair on mobile video sites and things like that, but on Ebay they are like $60-$80 a monitor....im not super concerned with it being the greatest quality in the world, and im not a video perfectionist, as long as i can see wut the hell im watching....is there a catch to these ebay ones? if u need an example just go to ebay and type in headrest monitors and youll see the prices range from 60 bucks to 600 bucks. i know they say u get what u pay for, but for 60 bucks how bad can it be? please help me out guys, thanks!!!
There is someone on here...I wont say who, but that bought some of those cheap monitors. He said he couldnt even tell what he was watching...
And yes you do get what you pay for. If you typically spend $60 on paper weights, then I say go for it. But I think Office Depot would prefer to have your business..

a customer brought some of those "ebay special" monitors into my shop for us to install, and i turned him away because i didn't want this kid coming back to me when the monitors blew up. they were pure crap. stay away from that garbage. like don said, you're gonna get what you pay for.

this is no warrenty when u buy from online. atleast 90% of the time the tvs wont last longer than a year. I recommend just going to a shop close by and getting a warrenty with the install.
thanks for the info guys...i didnt know what i was getting into there...i may just get the pioneer monitors that typically go with my navi/dvd/ system...although they cost 7 billion dollars each, lol....but they come in silver and i ordered carbon fiber decals....im gonna try to have carbon fiber monitors in the headrest, as opposed to silver...ill take pics within the next few months....thanks so much guys....
