well i took it upon myself to fix my bose h/u in my '96 infiniti i30. i had some random fading of display and random fading of sound. i found a guide online on how to fix these problems. right now my h/u is laying in my room in literally 8 different pieces. im waiting for the 2 470ohm chip resistors to come in the mail so i can fix it. i hope this works out. if anyone wants to see the guide, here is the link...
