Basic questions... 5th gen stock system..

I dont really want to invest in a sound system but i have a a non-Bose and its not enough...

I was wondering how will be the sound if i only change the speakers? I think the speaker size is 6 1/2 front and rear... what speakers would you recommand front, rear and tweaters...

Changing the speakers is always a good choice, changing the head unit could also make your stock speakers come to life as well as adding more functions, as far as just changing your speakers i would reccommend pioneer REV series speakers for their sensitivity as well as price, they are very loud and very clear sounding. i would suggest you get an amplifier as well however that would require investing more money again.

if you upgrade to a components set and coaxials in the back and leave the stock h/u sound will improve for sure. when i installed my system i did that first to see how much of a difference. however, id recommened purchasing a new h/u also so you can tweak your setup alot better than with the stock h/u.

yeah but id get an aftermarket h/u. to retian steering wheel controls you need to buy a pac swix control adapter. and to keep the trip functions just find the brown wire with a white line on it thats in the left over harness when you install a new h/u and ground that wire.
