Has any one tried this?
I have a 98 Max and i cut a larger hole in the metal backing and cut up the seat hole and pulled some stuffing then got my sew on.
Its 3/4 MDF'd to the metal piece
I fabricated a box i can glue and l braket to the open side but it doesnt sound to bad using the trunk as one.
Its a stage 2 Punch 10'' sub
and a M350 Alpine amp

Looks like just an infinite baffle setup. In addition to the actual baffle board you would have to seal off the entire trunk area from the rest of the car for it to sound optimal.
I made an aperiodic enclosure for my car, which was a little more complex but WAY worth the effort. Check out page 7 on my homepage.
