what is the rectangular white 16 pin plug>>

in the trunk of my maxima for.

i have it in my maroon 95 Maxima SE - it has heated leather seats, auto climate control, power drivers seat, abs, power sunroof.

this plug is not found on my white 95 Maxima se - power drivers seat, power sunroof.

the location of the plug is behind the drivers side panel that covers the rear strut. remove the panel and i saw a bundle of wires taped together with 2 loose plugs with nothing attached to them. one is the mystery plug. i am guessing that it was the prewire for factory in trunk cd player.

any suggestions would be helpful.

if one of the wires is a ground its most likely for a cd changer
