Ok, I am about to put in a massive system in my Max but I do not know how you all install the amps. I would like to make my trunk as clean as possible so I want to install the amp flush with the bottom floorboard, but where you can see it through a sheet of plexi-glass. How did you guys accomplish this? Thanks all

You could take out the spare and put the amp there, you could also make a box that is about 2" high and covers the whole flor and then put the amp in that, my advice is just play around with it and see what works best for you.

Mine isn't flush with the floor, but I think it's pretty clean.

Basically I got a board, painted it the same grey as my trunk lining, then mounted it to the back of the trunk (back of the rear seats) and mounted the amp to that. Barely takes any space (especially since that space wasn't very useful anyway, it being angled and all.

I built a carpeted board and bolted it to the rear seat braces, after the amps were in place I made a cover for the entire area and placed it over the amps. And installed 2 fans one pushing and one pulling to circulate air. Now when the trunk is open all you see are 2 fan openings.
