system upgrade

wanted some feedback on the current system idea I have. It is in my budget, but being a newbie to the car audio scene, not sure if I could do better for my price range. So far I have been doing a lot of searching for the lowest prices on all these and the price is between $600-$700. I don't need anything that will break windows, but I do want some boom-boom for the shorties. Comments would be appreciated.

61/2's kappa 63.5i front and rear doors
6x9's reference 9603i rear deck
infinity basslink x subwoofer (anyone have one, how is it?)
jvc amp ks-ax7300 warren g series.

i don't think you need 6x9's in the rear deck. just the four door speakers, tweeters and a sub. my system is basic too.

just to let you know in addition to those things, you'll need about 100-200 for power wire/fuses/fuse holders/NICE rca cables. NOt to mention dynamat.....it DOES make a difference. most people go fro the kappa 62.5i, because of the adjustable tweet. are you going to be cutting 6x9 wholes in the back?? i wouldn't say that is a good idea unless your letting a pro installer do it....some people said they could never get the 6x9 perfectly straight. but its up to you. how many watts is your amp?? for the 62.5i or 63.5i they need about 75 watts RMS.... oh i forgot you'll also need a pac...that willl run about 60 bucks...since your not upgrading your head unit...like myself.

i read that the 6x9's in the rear were hard to get in quite a few times. Just concerned that the stock ones will distort the overall sound. How does your system sound with the stock hu?

yeah, i know there is some more to add. I think I will forget about the 6x9's if the stocks will do. the amp is 560 watts w/ built in crossover. Are the 62.5i's more expensive than the 63.5's? The stock tweeters in the 02's will do right? I thought the pax was if I installed an aftermarket hu.

yeah, you prob will...well actually since your changing your 4 ch amp....it is better to use the pac, cleaner signal. i know i used a cheap one at first, then bought a pac from an org member, hooked up with some monster xln 401 cables and WOW O what a difference. i think the 62.5 and 63.5 are very close in cost. but to tell you the truth you dont need that extra tweet. if you go on sound domain, the 62.5i is much more popular, like i said before, it is because you can angle the tweet to point up, in the direction of the seat....i would rather get some comps in front, and change out the whole thing, the stock one sucks, and i had the bose system. it is onl like .5 in thick...my kappa perfect 6.1 was like 1.5 in. MUCH cleaner highs, plus the crossover helps with the mids. a lot better than what i had before. i know find myself turning down the volume, cause it is too loud, but also it is clear which is what everyone wants....

The basslink is pretty good I think, It fills in the low end as well as it can. I owned one for like 7 months, and it did its job. Wholesalematrix has a good deal on it, itll run you like 200ish shipped.
