bose subwoofer not working.....

My sub has not been working for a while but I could always fix it for a little bit. I would push up on this thing circled in the yellow http://carstereohelp.com/stereoremov...oseSubAmpR.htm

Now when I push up on it it would not work. I am guessing that it is that thing that is bad and not the subwoofer amp? I took it out and looked at it and it looks all fine. Is there anywhere I can buy that part?

Remove it & get yourself a real sub.

I would like to but I am on a budget. Just going from HU to new amp would be like 60bux for that converter and then I would need a new amp and a new subwoofer. I just can't put that much money into it.
