I am upgrading my stock 02 sound system with the following:

infinity ref 6002i- front and rear doors
infinity basslink x- subwoofer
kenwood ddx7015- aftermarket head unit

I have already got the above items, but can decide on which amp to run my speakers. Any suggestions? I don't need anything to extravagant, but something to make them sound good. Do I even need an for them, or can the head unit do it?

Head unit power can only go so far, if you like your music kind of loud your probably better off going with an amp. You will get more volume with a lot less distortion. If you want to keep it simple you could just go with a five channel amp. Kicker makes some good amps, they have the KX700.5 which puts out 40 watts x 4 and 420 watts at 2 ohms for the sub.
