trunk setup help

i have a box with 2 12" subs in the trunk. Is there anyway I can have my subs and sill conserve space in the trunk? Would it be possible to cut a piece of MDF board and screw in my subs facing the interior of the car, thus making my trunk the box? Any ideas will help.

actually... i the subs are ok for free air box. aka infinite box then you can do so. but bass will not be too deep.....check the specs on the subs, they will say if it is built for free air enclosures or not...

You can mount the subs in the rear deck with aperiodic enclosures underneath. That's what I did. Still have the entire trunk. It's a lot of work, though.

Get better subs that don't need a high cubic space box. My arc's only need like .7 cubic feet of space thus making the box small.
