first of all, im not sure of where to put this and i figured "electronics" would be the most suiting for this topic..but yea..

i've been looking at neons n junk and i ran into "cold cathode" neons..wat are these? is there a difference between these "cold cathodes" and like the neons u can buy from a car store?
