I know many people on this board have swapped out HU's with the rest of the Bose system installed. I am looking for more clarity. Also which adapter is the best and are there any certain things to be aware of? I have run all the system possibilities in my mind and have decided to just swap out the HU and dynamat the rear deck (bose sub rattle) to start and work from there. Inputs are requested.

 

It's much better. The weakness in the system is the HU. Read the FAQ threads about replacing the HU but keeping the amps/speakers for all the parts lists, etc.
