00 GXE Max, small setup.. advice needed.
Hey everyone,
I am in the process of doing a small setup in my max. I guess I finally got tired of having a stock setup and wanted to get something better.
Right now, I have the following the following equipment. The only piece actually installed is the HU, however I will install one of the amps and the components and coax's tomorrow.
Equipment:
Alpine 9827 cd/mp3 player (3 set, 4v out)
CDT Audio CL-61T (6.5" component, 3/4" tweeter)
CDT Audio CL-6X (6.5" coaxials)
Precision Power PC450 (Power Class)
I also have a Precision Power PC275 (Power Class) that I was thinking of putting on 1 12" RF HX2 12" sub or 15" sub.
What are you guys thoughts on this initial setup, do you think the PC275 would be enough power for either of those subs or should I invest in something stronger and sell the PC275?
I was also throwing around the idea for some kicks containing a set of 5.4" CDT components or making my own fiberglass kicks with another set of CDT CL-61T's.
Also, I have a Stinger dry cell that a friend gave me. Should I put this in the trunk or scrap the whole process of having an additional battery?
I haven't really been around the car audio scene in a number of years so I'm not real sure what is currently out there that is within my budget.
I'm looking to keep costs at a minimum to help save for my rim purchase that is upcoming.
