Please help!! sub wires, into rear bose speaker. bad or good?

ok, here is waht I did, I a few months ago, installed all the wires for my sub.
4 gauge calbe, audio cable, remote cable, ground, MONO amp, everything....
but since then, I also have removed the sub. (didn't like the too much bass.) so all I had left was the wrires hanging on the back of my car (taped of course)

Now I have hated that one of my rear speakers was bronken. so today I removed and tried to fix it, it turns out the the two copper wires in the center of the speakers were broken, (aged probably) I tried to fix it, but it didn't work, (I end up destroing the speaker it self, beyon repair.)

Then I had this Idea of using the wires form the sub, into a small 240watts 2 way amp I had somewhere around my house. and so I was able to buy new cheap speakers from bestbuy. ($24 - 120w) put it on, did all the wiring and it works fine.

questions:
will there be any damage to my wires?
will there be damage to the speakers?
will they burn my car?
what kind of sound problems may I encouter? (low bass? non-ajustable bass?)
I made a mistake and bought speakers that are 6.5 in in size, and they don't fit, what is the exact size for the rear speakers?

Thanks for any info.
gui

you ruined the speaker yea but not because of the wires, you probably banged the sh** out of it with too much bass. or too much power for the speaker.

the bose rear speaker, were stock wired. (never touched then, all I knew was, every once in a while it would work then it would stop working. a few minutes later.

I destroyed the speaker, because I took the whole speaker apart. (pulled the small center twetter section, (poked holes in the surface of the speaker... (mistakenly)

OH no sh** sorry don't have an explanation for ya. wire wize it can't be that. if it was a bad power wire you wouldn't get power to blow it same with the rca's. replace and start over your only option.

well, just to conclude my story.
I bought at best buy, a $39 dollars 6.5 speakers 120watts. put my sub wires into my 240W 2 way amp. (maxed the gains) plugged the two new rear speaker on the back of the car, into the amp, and I have brand new rear working speakers.
only think is, I don't think the sound sound is as strong as the bose. but it is definitaly more clear. (lower in sound thou)

(good this about this, if in 30 days,I blow my new rear speaker, then I can just return it to best buy, and get new ones.).

is there any danger in running the rear speakers like they are right now.

(RearSpeakers)+- (LR) wires___amp__rca___HU

in other words, I'm not using the rear speakers connectors used for the bose.

can you understand the picture. any problem with doing this.
