I have a 99 with Bose and have just finished hard wiring my iPod to play through the cd changer input. It all works flawlessly except im getting a slight hum at high rpm. Is the Radio Shack ground Loop isolator of decent quality or should I be looking for a different brand?

Well, never mind, I went and bought the Radio Shack version last night for 17 bucks. I installed in 2 minutes, and works great. Having the iPod play through the Bose with no tape adapter or fm modulator is a thing of beauty. Sounds perfect.

But this may be a mute point since I'm about to upgrade my HU. But it'd still be nice to know how.
Thanks.

I've got a factory non-Bose headunit on my gxe 2k max (no cd changer either). Do you know what the differences are for the cd player inputs for the Bose vs non-Bose? Does your bose HU have more buttons than my HU? Do the 'seek' buttons work to change songs on the iPod?
wow, sorry, too many questions! I'm excited to try and do something like this, so please respond
