I have a 2k with the bose, and everytime I have fm/am on the clarity sucks but when I have a CD in the bose sounds good so I am sure the speakers are not bad so I am led to believe that my antenna is bad and was wondering if there are replacement antennas for the window or anything else that would boost my signal to get better reception

 

There are antenna boosters out there, however throughout my experience they are not worth the money. What you might want to check is that the antenna is getting power, I have a 2k2 and my antenna is on the rear windshield, I believe yours should be the same. If you take out the plastic covering on the C pillar on the passenger side it will be under it, take a Volt Meter and check for power. Or I am not sure if the antenna has its own fuse, you might want to verify that first.

 

Ya I just read up on those antenna boosters being crap...my antenna is on the rear window as well...on some stations reception is good with minimal static but on others its downright disappointing..i know my speakers are fine b/c CDs sound great. I just dont know any options to increase reception...looks like im stuck
