Need advice on purchase

I have been shopping around for a new system for my 99 Max. I've narrowed it down to the Alpine 9827 and Alpine SPR-174A 6.5's speakers all the way around.

My questions are...

Is this a good set up with no amp running it?

The shop wants to charge me $600 installed out the door. Is this excessive?

Are the Coax speakers all the way around good enough or should I use separates for the front?

Are the current speaker wires good enough to run or do they need replacement?

Any other options I should think about?

Apline is pretty good, so that setup would sound good im sure, even if it wasnt amped. $600? disgustingly excessive. do it yourself

It will sound ok but if you put in amp it will sound 1000times better. But few things to think about...If you put the system in yourself (which is very easy to do) warranties will not be valid because your not a pro stereo person like lets say Tweeter stores. Also, most after market speakers are better sounding w/amps pushing them because all head units almost never have enough power to push the speakers even if they do say Alpine 45watts x4. Hate to see you spend good money on them and not get the sound you can get. You will kick yourself later bud...So if you have some time do it yourself and just think of the money you would've spend to have someone else do for $600 the type of amp you can get for that much ... man ...it will sound gooooood.....Last note Alpine head unit great but Alpine speakers realllllllly bad idea they just suck ....Look into some Infinity Kappa speakers cost the same but sound reallllllly goooooood......P.S. If you do put in a amp get a 4 channel amp at least 75-100 watt X4 to make install easy......good luck........peace..................
