Which is better

I have 2 JL 12w3's from my old Maxima that are just sitting in my house collecting dust since I got my 04 Maxima. Should I put them in the Maxima or say F it and sell them and the JL 500.1 amp that I have to power them? I have the Bose system in the new Maxima, and I love it. Would it be a pain to have my local audio shop install these in my Maxima? Thanks!

I called my local Audio shop and they quoted me 120 for the install. I already have the amp, subs and box. What could I sell all of this for if I wasn't going to put it in my car? Thanks again!

Matt,

You gotta install all that!!! C'mon, it's just two hours of work, for the person, who has no clue how to do it... Don't waste $120. And think, any original Bose system gives beautiful highs and mids... but not the lows... Add it to your car.

after 3.5 years ... I added my old Orion T500 from best buy and a JL10W6 and a JBL 12 and man I have been missing it... Just like 30 bucks for my local shop to run the hot wire. Bought a high level to low level converter from Best buy ($25) and disconnected the factory sub and used that input to the converter and then to amp. it crosses over low like at most 50 hz but every thing below ROCKS ... So DEEP and accurate. not a hint of noise. I'm very inpressed!! I Would do it.
