Installing aftermarket tweeter in A pillar
I was putting in my focal TN-52 tweeter and when i took off the pillar i saw that the original bose (clarion) tweeter is tiny. So after getting the clarion off i could not fit the focal in. After i took all the plastic casing off the focal, i got down to its bare metal and it fit but only because the magnet is stuck to the metal. So here is my question, is it ok to listen to a speaker (tweeter) while its magnet is resting on metal that its attracted to by polarity or will this ultimately ruin the speaker?

nah you'll be alright. the magnet is used to push the spk back to its original position. its not a sub so that spk won't do any harsh movements.
you understand this?

you're all set. the only way to really ruin them is to crank them too much.
to make you understand. magnets if you put them together in opposite sides they repel. when your spk bounces the way it goes back it by that method. spk pushes in the magnet pushes it back out.
