anyone using jbl subwoofers?

anyone using jbl subwoofers?

i was wondering how many of you guys run JBL subwoofers not JL...ill be running one by tommorow (install will be complete tommorow) and ive been reading about peoples thing about brahma subwoofers, but the jbl sub i have comes pretty close to it within specs.

has anyone mounted any big amps in there maxima? my installers had trouble fitting my amps ill have pictures of it probably this weekend. my amp measures in at 26 inches *ouch*

Which specs? I compared the Theil/Small parameters of the W12GTi to the Brahma 12 and the Brahma is better in every way before factoring in Adire's patented motor design. The XBL^2 low distortion motor gives the Brahma much more power through it's operating range (as shown in the BL vs. excursion graph). Now the XBL^2 technology isn't the only way to get a low distortion sound. Lambda Acoustics used copper faraday rings to achieve a better sound. (I have an SB10 with the faraday motor) Alot of other companies are doing this now. If JBL is doing something like this, they aren't promoting it.
