new alpine type X?

has anyone gotten theses yet, how do they preform?

I installed the an X sub and X components in a corvette.

The sub was incredible, as were the components. The component speakers are made by scanspeak, one of the best speaker companies out there.

i heard like 10,000 x's had defective vc's. they were shortening out.
