Center console

The center console of my max when i bought it had a aftermaket radio they left some space and now there is a big space above it. I dont know what it is that profesional installers use when they remove the pieces. Does anyone know what it is? Ill take pics tonight and put it up here. Thanks.

take the trim piece off
now if u still have the OEM radio brackets attech the radio and the pocket(trey) to it(i belive the radio goes on top and tray on the bottom) put it back in and see how it looks
u will have to take the trim piece from your HU off...otherwise it may not fit

if i`m not mistaken the the black trim piece in the center console(the one that goes around your HVAC controls, radio, ashtray) has to be removed...then u should have two metal brackets....those brackets will have writing on the (left or right)....attach the deck and the pocket to them...put it back in the car.....re-attach the black trim piece(center dash)
