I got my 98 Maxima in the summer and it does have Bose speakers. I equipped it with the Pioneer DEHP7500MP. After the installation when i turn the volume up I do hear a bit of distortion, nothing crazy but its there. I try playing with the frequency levels of my bass and treble, and the their amounts still it persists.

Im guessing that these Bose speakers are nearing the end, did anyone run into this as well. If so a little advice would be nice. I already know when it comes time for replacements I will be going for infinity. Thanx guys

Yeah, the factory amp. The whole speaker setup is stock with the new headunit.

so you have no PAC OEM or anything like it
