Hi. My Front left Bose speaker stopped working a day ago. Sound crackles sometimes and im not sure it the tweater is working either. If i change the Fader and Balance around everything else works fine. Any suggestions? Loose wire?

try banging slightly on the side of the center console right next to the headunit. My buddy has an 03 Max, and the LF speaker comes on after he raps on the side of the headunit.

edit:could mean that your headunit is on its way out.

Awsome advise...not.

There is a TSB for the 02 and 03 for that problem, not sure if it applies to the 01 as well. Read this link and also the stickies.
