Car Alarm - Viper 791VX

Hi,

I am considering a car alarm for my 2002 ... and thinking of the Viper Viper 791xv...what options should i get.. I am thinking of adding a remote start, plus a couple or sensors...which ones should i consider? is there one available for protecting the HID lights?

thanks - Noela

I'd get the remote start. Good for so many things. You can get extra sensors and put them under the headlights. There's also a Viper GPS tracking system which pretty much doubles the price. But it's the best security system because if your car is broken into or stolen and driven 1 mile you automatically get a phone call with your recorded message saying they car is stolen and then you can track it on a PDA, laptop whatever. I'd get into contact with Pearl96Max. He's an authorized viper dealer/installer who's located in NJ. Worth the trip IMO.

I got mine installed at $230, starter, remote, and sensors etc. I have a window module for sale if anyone is interested.

Well, they're a company that doesn't want their stuff installed by non-authorized installers and if it's not installed by an authorized dealer it pretty much voids everything. So that's something to keep in mind
