Too many problems....need some advice

First problem: The right front speaker works when it wants, goes on and off on its own and I can't seem to do anything about it......

Second problem: My two back speakers just suddenly stopped working a few weeks ago. I thought that if you blew your speakers they sound like crap, but the sounds still comes out of them. I was hoping the problem was a wiring problem. Is there any easy way for a novice to just check if the speakers are blown, without actually having to do much? I have an amp connected to the speakers too, could that have stopped working? This really sucks, much more than problem one because these are very good cerwin vega speakers.

PS: Best Buy protection plan on speakers are a scam. If you can't find a little slip of paper saying they installed the speakers your whole warranty is ignored and they wont do anything!!!

check the rear speakers where the wires connect. a lil metal plate and then there will be 2 wires coming off the plate going up to the speaker. are these wire loose or have any play. they could be touching with will cause the speaker not to work. same for the front but a lot harder to check. u may have a short in a speaker wire. and check to see if the amp is on. Also what kind of hu are u using
