Can I add steering wheel audio controls to my 2000 Max? The left side of my steering wheel has a plug(cover) where the controls are supposed to be positioned. If so, does anyone know where I can get the controls? And how easy of install is?

 

+1 Thats what we get for having the first year of a redesigned max. They brought the steering wheel controls for 2001. Im thinking if i get bored one day ill see if i can find the controls at a junkyard and pick up a PAC SWI-X, and see what happens.

 

yea i believe so.. becuase im in the process of doing this on my i30... i think if you look at a 2000 pathfinder with the bose system youll find the volume control. so ordering it. is another thing.. stupid dealer wants the vin number from soe car inorder for me to order the controls
