Need some help please. Amp Question

So the other day my speakers just cut out. I noticed that my amp wasn't powering on. Thus I replaced the amp today and checked all fuses along with the remote wire. Still no power up. I tried three amps so far. Not sure what the problem is. Any ideas?

Do you have an inline fuse for the battery cable?

Is your ground loose?

are you sure there's power in the remote? how did you test it? with a tester? If there's power, the problem should be in the ground...

As far as I know the ground is secure. The inline fuse to the battery is intact. I haven't checked power to the remote wire. Hopefully that's the problem cause I don't know what else it could be. If somehow the ground was faulty, wouldn't the amp still power on but go into protection mode? Cause as of now the amp doesn't power on at all which leads me to suspect the remote wire. Although upon inspection the remote wire looked intact. I will take a Ohm meter and try to measure the voltage. Thanks for the suggestions guys.

Also check the fuse. I had an instance where the fuse tested fine with my volt meter, but wasn't passing enough power to power the amp. Replace the fuse as a test.

I felt dumb, because I drove around for 3 days with no radio because the fuse had tested fine.... only to have a shop look at the install and fix it with just a fuse.

The VOM/DMM is your friend. If you have 12V at both the + amp terminal and the remote turn on leed and your ground is good, the amp should turn on.
